Historic Beaufort Tour
Cypress Glen residents boarded a 1967 English double-decker bus to take a tour of Beaufort, North Carolina’s third oldest town. Beaufort was originally a fishing village located on the southern tip of the Outer Banks. Today, Beaufort is proud to have about 150 restored historic homes bearing plaques with names of the earliest known owners and dates of original constructions.
Before the tour, residents enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant, Moonrakers where they were able to make their way to the third floor deck and take in beautiful views of the waterfront.
